I’m really excited to have a piece out in Luna Luna Magazine this month – a flash piece I did called Milk Carton. In my writing I have been interested lately in the ways people find and keep power, and in the interplay between power and fear and the lack of each – how do they balance each other out? How does one inform the other, and are there times where the reaction is the opposite of what is expected?
Luna Luna is one of my favorite online magazines. It’s a magazine that looks at women, society, fashion and art from a feminist perspective. It’s all about finding that sweet spot where we can indulge ourselves while holding our values up to a light to see if they’re transparent, opaque, and where dark things swim within.
Don’t be afraid of the dark things that swim. And do read Luna Luna!
